After more than 15 years in the business and having conducted hundreds of interviews, one might assume that there are few answers left that could surprise her. However, the opposite is true. Victoria J. Fode brings a personal touch to each interview, tailored to her interviewees, to ensure that no conversation is alike.

From Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg, Jessica Chastain and Tilda Swinton, Colin Firth and Hugh Jackman to Iris Berben and Moritz Bleibtreu, Wim Wenders and Elyas M’Barek, the list of her interviewees is as illustrious and diverse as the interviews themselves.

After graduating in International Journalism from John Moores University in Liverpool, UK, and gaining initial experience, including at the hallowed halls of The GUARDIAN in London or CNN International, she followed her roots back to Germany and has since been successfully pursuing her career as a Creative Production Director, film journalist, and producer for audiovisual content and social media assets for German and international films, series, and streaming content.

Victoria J. Fode is currently working internationally for the digital marketing performance agency Jellyfish as a Global Senior Integrated Producer and also supports various national film and series productions as a freelance creative producer and host. Her current clients include, among others, Spotify, Liverpool F.C., Vodafone, Netflix, Studiocanal, WarnerBros. TV, and Wildbunch Germany.

Previously, she was responsible for digital communication at UFA Fiction and worked as Head of Production for the company tb-vent GmbH & Co.Kg. She also continues to offer media and interview training (on/off camera) for aspiring filmmakers. (Inquiries via email at info@victoriajfode.com)

Victoria J. Fode regularly serves as a red carpet interviewer and/or live presenter for various film/series premieres, including for WarnerBros. Germany and Wildbunch Germany.

Inspired by the growing demand for interview formats that particularly highlight German film, Victoria J. Fode independently realized one of her passion projects in 2022:

LAST FILM STANDING, a podcast where she converses with various artists from the film and theater industry about the films of their lives, has been available on all major platforms since September 2022. (Currently on hiatus.) Fode took on the roles of creative ideator, producer, and host for the podcast.

Previously, she has also been seen on camera since 2019, initiating and hosting the film talk show format ON THE COUCH WITH… as well as the weekly cinema news format FEATURE:KINO.

She was also the creative mind, lead editor, and host of the national cinema campaign LEUCHTSPUREN.

In her free time, she produced and hosted the podcast format ES IST EINE FREUDE…, which dealt with philanthropic and contemporary topics.
